In 1955, Pan Am Flight 914 took off from New York bound for Miami. Hours later, air traffic control lost all contact. The plane, its 57 passengers, and crew were never seen again. Families mourned, and investigators closed the case.

But in 1992, in Caracas, Venezuela, an airport tower reported a shock: a Pan Am plane appeared out of nowhere, asking to land. Its flight number was 914. The pilot said: “Where are we? We left New York this morning!” When told it was 1992, he panicked, started the engines, and flew away—disappearing once more.
Though many call it a myth, the story continues to haunt aviation mystery lovers worldwide.
